BC at beginning of NW Ridge
C1 on NW Ridge
C2 on NW Ridge.
NW Ridge not sharp and goes up and down frequently and was mostly snow covered with some exposed rock. Summit party left C2 at 4:00 am, on top 11:30 am and slept in C2, which reached at 4:00 pm after 1 hour on top in fine weather. 3 May to BC and left BC that day.
Rope fixed but C2 and top: 450m
Garnier climbed to only 5900m on 28 April (not as strong climber).
