Crossing the river which was covered with ice and while jumping over an ice patch, Steger fell down and broke his hand. He was evacuated by helicopter on April 10 May have left Nepal after two days.
Einwaller, Pemba Dorje and Phurba Sherpa, left C2 on May 26 about at 6 am, reached C3 at 2 pm and slept. Waited for weather to improve in higher camp but the forecast was not good then went down to BC and waited two more days for good weather. Then gave up the climbing.
Einwaller arrived KTM by helicopter on 28th and will leave on 30th May.
