BC at new lake west of West Col (normal site)
C1 at 100m below West Col on east side.
Wanted to make a C2 at foot of East Ridge on 22nd but very windy so down to BC to rest. Decided not to have a C2. Rauschenberger and Keck returned to C1 on 25th. 26th for summit, but Keck not feeling well and turned back at 7000m, Rauschenberger went to 7500m then technical climbing and needed rope for descent; both to BC that day. Also 26th Marte and Pflugmacher to BC same day.
30th Rauschenberger, Marte and Keck to C1 but Keck turned back that day from C1 because of cough. 31st Rauschenberger and Marte to top and back to C1 because Marte very tired and very slow in descent; 1st Nov to BC.
Kaiser had altitude problem and left BC 19th Oct - did not climb.
