Reports of Sherpas on this expedition used others food and fuel not true, but 1 Sherpa's taking another team's crampons was true and Sherpas reprimanded for this.

Mosedale had system of always having a climbing Sherpa or his deputy leader Gormley or himself in camps when members were there: in ABC 1 Sherpa when members there temporarily; in C1 1 or 2 Sherpas and either Mosedale or Gormley; in C2, 1 Sherpa or Mosedale or Gormley; in C3 1 Sherpa.

Collier reached ABC, got chest infection and climbed no higher.

Members left early:
Appleby got to 6000m, saw summit not possible for him and left 1 Nov.
A. Illingwarth got to 5000m only; not a climber but there only for the trek
and to take photos - left 2 or 3 Nov.
S. Illingwarth got no higher than ABC - developed chest infection and left
with her daughter.
Kay was very slow got to C1, saw summit impossible and left 2 or 3 Nov.
