C1 at North Col
High point at bottom of Second Step.

30th Sept down to ABC, very hard climb and discuss what to do. 4th Oct to C1, 5th to C2, 6th to C2, 7th started up from C3 at 7:00 pm (Chinese time); reached 11:30 am bottom of Second Step. Here deep snow burying all old ropes, very windy, had to make own route and had no rope with them, so turned around to C2 8:00-9:00 pm. 9th ABC. 10th BC and on to border.

Oxygen:
Shalygin from 7300m up, in C2, to Second Step and down to C2.
Bershov from 7700m to and in C3 to Second Step and down to 8000m.
