1st summit bid 23rd Sept by Cho Kwang-Je and Kim Bum-Taek and reached 7850m (above S Summit but below Hillary Step) and turned back because snow waist-deep and returned to C4.
2nd summit bid 8th Oct only because strong winds till now. 2nd bid by the same 2 members with Cho Hyo-Je and Park Hee-Taek and reached 8100m before defeated by wind.
3rd bid successful. 2 members left C4 10:20 pm 12th Oct in full moon. Park Hee-Taek turned back at S Summit while Cho Kwang-Je went on up with Japanese and Mexican climbers when they met at S Summit. Reached summit at 12:30 pm, after Japanese party and before Mexican. No more summit bids after this.
Bad relations with Sherpas: one member's nose broken by Sherpas at BC; expedition hired Sherpas directly, not through trekking agency.
