BC west of Damodar Kunda.
26th Aug rested at BC because porters did not reach BC on 25th with still tents, all but 1 sleeping bag. 27th left BC at 4:35 am, Anna and Edmund Wirbel, Mihatsch, Guna Bahadur Tamang and Oisail Tamang to top 10:15 am via SW Ridge, same as US in spring 02 and returned BC at 12:40 pm. Route not technically difficult and not much snow on ridge.
