Purpose of climb was to acclimatize for Xixabangma because Vallejo knew normal route on Cho Oyu and impossible to do so on SW Face. Stayed in C2 only one night. 29th down to BC and Tingri.
Oct 2 left Nyalam to Xixa and alpine-style ascent from BC at 5200m and ABC at bottom of face at 5500m. Arrived at ABC Oct 5 but started and summit push only on 8 Oct. Scaled face/couloir and on top 10 Oct. Took only rucksacks in push; pretty windy and cold; waited till 4:00 am.
