BC at 4700m in grassy open place west of West Ridge
C1 at 5400m on glacier at end of a small ridge
C2 at 6250m on small plateau 6400m peak.
From C1 climbed a 6400m summit and down 100m to site of C2 (C3 for French teams) on small plateau.
Heinze did not attempt to go to summit; he stayed in C2 because he was too slow. Weber climbed above C1 but lung infection forced him to stop climbing and he and Unger left on 14 Oct by helicopter.
