ABC at 5700m site of Korean BC.

May 14: Gyalbu, Lodue, Pemba, Tashi, Ren Na and Tsering Dorje left C3 at 04:00 hours. Summit 09:15 hours, stayed about 25 minutes, back to C3 at 14:15 hours. Akebu went up to C2 on April 23 with Pemba, Ren Na and Tsering with four Sherpas. Akebu felt very bad cold particularly knees and went down to BC. Weather condition was very bad strong wind. The expedition use satellite phone to get weather report from Lhasa and also Lobsang made astrological method for weather forecast.

The expedition plans to go for K2, maybe next year. The team returned to KTM on May 23 and will probably leave on 31st after a visit to Lumbini and Chitwan. They will attend the 50th Anniversary of the ascent to Everest in KTM. Sherpas did not go up beyond 7400m due to weather conditions.

About 100m below C1, C2 ,C3 - to summit fixed rope 1200m.
