Tripier Mandancin left BC on April 15 with the dead assistant cameraman (Arnaud Saulnier) by helicopter.
Gueorguievsky skied from C2->C1 (Telemark skis) probably the first one to do that on Everest slope. Due to frostbite Gueorguievsky having started vascular pain and was flown out from BC to KTM on May 26.
Gueorgoievsky said the main objective of Lhotse expedition was to include cameraman for the Everest Expedition on the occasion of 50th Anniversary - and producing 4 films in 3 parts.
