10 May Reichen down from C3 because strong wind. 17 ABC to C2; 16 May to C3. 3:00 am up for summit Reichen with Italians and Andrew Lock. 20 May good weather but cold; up by line to right of normal route (perhaps new route) and on top 4:30 pm; on top with Mondinelli 20-30 minutes: reached C3 8:00 pm Reichan arrived C3, 2 hours before Mondinelli. Merroli again problem with cloudy weather and very tired: returned to BC 3:00-4:00 pm; snow falling from C2.
