BC at usual site
C1 at Lho La west end
C2 on north side of West Shoulder
High point at C3 site.

Very warm weather and all blue ice, very difficult digging snow hole at C1. Route made to C3 site at 7100m, only 3 hrs from C2 but C3 tents never pitched because winds broke C2 tents 3 times and once carried empty tent to Tibet; had only 2 Sherpas. Another problem was late arrival walkie-talkies (arrived BC 6th Dec). Total 12 tents broken at C1 and C2. Members could rest only 1 day because Sherpas not carrying.
