Big storm on 22nd April smashed tent at C1 while team was in BC. 25 April went up to C1 to see tent flattened; pitched new tent but down to BC. Weather very bad all these days with fierce wind and much snowfall even at BC and dining tent destroyed on 3 May. 5th May storm ended, so up again 6th May to C1 and then found C1 had been totally destroyed in 1 May storm and snow very deep; dug out what could be recovered but climb finished. Now no time to carry on climbing because flight from KTM 19 May. Both members climb together all the time.
