원정 개요

Moritz and Wolf left C2 on May 11 at 05:00 hours. Both members summited at 1215 hours, stayed about 40 minutes, waiting for the Swiss climbers to summit. Descended to C2 where both climbers arrived at 16:30 hours. The weather on summit day was clear. Other climbers ahead of Moritz and Wolf were Australian and one Sherpa and behind them there were 2 Swiss, 2 Australians and two Sherpas and one Swiss woman Schnider.

After the summit, both members trekked to BC of Island Peak. Returned to KTM on May 21 and to leave on 24th.

Above C3 very deep glacier but ropes were okay so no problems.
Just above C3 very hard ice - blue ice, then snow
Lots of rope - 15, one after the other
C2->C3 - most ropes on very steep part (6100m)
29th April snowing in Pangboche - only good after May 04. Clear day on summit.
Tactic - went very slow, had good food.
