BC at 4500m usual BC site
C1 at 5700m usual site.

May 10: Hertli, Illien and Wangchu left C2 at 04:00 hours, summited at 14:00 hours, stayed about an hour, back to C2 at 19:00 hours. Weather generally was good but before half an hour to summit, gathered clouds; summit was misty and could not see other mountains. Next day Hertli descended to BC; Illien stayed at C2.

May 11: Bernard, Mrs Schneider and Wangchu started from C2 at 04:30 hours, summited at 12:30, spent half an hour on top, returned to C2 at 18:00 hours. Next day all descended to BC.

On May 11 other summiters were three Australians and two Austrians before Bernhard team. Weather was very good. The expedition returned to KTM on May 16 and leaves on 17 afternoon.

Member De Weck left BC on 9th and left Nepal on the 11th.
