BC at Tilicho Lake
C1 at NE Spur
C2 at junctions of Spur & North Ridge
High point on North Ridge/Face.

Attempt for top from C2 on 12th by Erdman, Schielen and Van den Brock and "Sherpas" Dawa Sherpa, Santa Gurung and Pasang. At 2:00 pm at 6935m, "snow clouds" brought snowfall, turned back at 3:00 pm and in end was whiteout so stopped 50m vertical above C2 and bived there to wait for daylight; got to C2 at 9:00 am after 2-1/2 hours descent. C2 covered by snow but Sherpas dug out tents and down to C2 and BC at 6:00 pm and now no more time to make 2nd attempt.

Ropes used BC->C1 300m, C1->C2 300m more only

Erdman got frostbitten feet and left by helicopter; seriousness not known yet.

Vrolyk did not go above BC; had problem with nasal passages and left expedition on 9 Nov.
