Oct 01: Casiraghi (diabetic), Cucco, Pensa, Peruffo, Radin and Sormani (diabetic) from C2 at 01:00 Chinese time. Pensa and Peruffo summited at 12:00 (09:45 NST), stayed about 40 minutes back to C2 about 17:00. Cold clear day. Nice view of mountains including Everest. Two oxygen cylinders on summit; before them were 3 Americans with oxygen and a Sherpa, Japanese with oxygen. After them were two Germans (Amical) and some other people. Casiraghi and Cucco did not attempt as they were very tired. Radin reached up to rock band 7500m about [also tired?]. Sormani stopped at C3 [site at 7400m] due to coldness.

Oct 03: Cadorini, Casarotto, Cerin, M. Peruffo (diabetic), Serraglio and Tararan left 10:30 from C2. Summit by Casarotto and Marco Peruffo at 10:30 (08:15 NST), stayed about half an hour, back to C2 about 14:00. Clear weather, saw Everest.

There was one Spanish doctor on the summit. Cadorini, Cerin and Tararan reached up to C3 [site] exhausted and stopped climbing. Serraglio reached up to 8100m, suffered from snowblindness, waited for summiting member and returned together.

Expedition Doctor Veronese up to C1, not supposed to attempt. Pavan, the research doctor, remained at ABC all the time. Expedition returned to KTM on Oct 09, leaving on 11th.
