All 3 to C1 on 26 Nov; down to BC 27 Nov. 27-28 Nov Italian left with tooth infection while 2 French up to C1 on 28 Nov. 29 Nov both to top from C1 in 8 hours and 3 hours back to C1 on 7:00-8:00 pm. Had told Williams they planned to acclimatize by climbing SW Ridge and then go to north side and descend SW Ridge. On north might try Tomas Humar's West Face route or a North Ridge, but when Passino had to leave, then French abandoned idea of northern route. Left nothing at C1 for descent and left BC 1-2 Dec.
