Summit push from C3 by Villarreal and Thukten Dorje. Mexican left half hour past midnight of morning of 25th, while Thupten about 1:10 am (he fell asleep just before). Thukten joined and passed Mexican summit ridge at 8550m, before First Step. Thukten and Mexican climbed near each other; at top of Second step Thukten went ahead of Mexican and got to top about 9:30 am and Mexican 10:30 am. Mexican left top first and Thukten afterwards, both slept in C3. Thukten arrived an hour before Mexican, who got to C3 a 6:00 pm. 26 May down to ABC by both.

Oxygen used by Mexican at 8000m going to C3, slept on oxygen in C3, up from C3 to top and down to 8500m, where oxygen ran out. Oxygen again in C3 sleeping and down to 7400m on 26th. Thukten used it sleeping in C3, to top and down to 8700m; to sleep in C3 again but not below C3.
