From Makalu La climbed on Tibetan side of Kangchungtse's SE Ridge on SE Face about 100m to top. Left C3 at 8:30 on 21st by Challeat, Debrueres and Hohm and Pemba and Lhakpa Rita Sherpas and were on top at 10:50-11:00 am. Easy climb to top on hard snow. Down to C2 same day except Pemba.

22nd Bardou, Charpentier and Vuilenim and Pemba again; took 2-1/2 hours to top from C3 because very windy and down to C2.
