According to Aregger, both members left C3 on Oct 02 at 06:30 hours reached summit at 15:00 hours, spent about 10 minutes, descended to C3 at 21:00 hours. The weather condition was good but very cold. They were on the summit together with two Japanese expedition members (man and women) and three Sherpas. Aregger showed their climbing route which is the proper normal route (crossing snowline far westward, climb shallow couloir on the summit ridge and climb eastward to summit). After the climb Hirschbichler and Aregger trekked to Tilicho-returned to Jomsom from there Hirschbichler went for Annapurna circuit trek. Aregger returned to Kathmandu on Oct 18, left Nepal on 20th. When I met Hirschbichler asked about their climbing route. She sketched me the route which is different from the one Aregger showed to me. Her sketch and the route showed to me by Mondinelli is the same, which is wrong route to summit. This later was confirmed by the Italian expedition leader Favre and climber Blanc. They told me that Hirshbichler team and the Japanese had wrong summit. I met the Spanish and Italian members before meeting Hirschbichler. When I asked Hirschbichler about the proper summit, she told me that she saw a higher point far ahead to the west, and asked Sherpas about it. Then one of the Sherpas told her that the place where they reached is the correct summit and nobody goes to the other point. Hirschbichler realized her situation and was very disappointed about the false information of the Sherpas about the summit.

She returned to Kathmandu on Oct 29 and left for Langtang on 31st. She returns to Kathmandu on Nov 8. Plans to leave Nepal at the beginning of Dec. She said that she is the chief of the organization called "Support for the people Himalaya." She had a shipment of used clothes for distribution in Nepal.
