BC near smaller lake west of West Col
C1 east of West Col
C2 at start of SE Ridge

Chatel only climbing member not to go to top as he thought it too risky up narrow ridge with ice covered by snow and both sides of ridge very steep ice. At 9:00 am were at 6700m at site of final ridge and to top at 3:00 pm in windy, cloudy and snow falling and no visability on top (breaking visability few seconds). Difficult descent to C2 in continued bad weather, so back in C2 at 6:00 pm, guided by some of Chatel's calls and whistle from a bit fixed 200m below North Col to Col, 200m on final ridge. Used some fixed rope already there. No one else on mountain while this team was there.
