Rope had been fixed by the Sherpas of this team from C1 to the altitude of 6600m. Ice was not solid, it came out into pieces when ice axes were stroked on ice. So it was difficult to fix ice axe on ice.
All climbers started climbing on 5th April at 4:30 am from C2, reached at 6600m at around 10:00 am, spent about 15 minutes and turned around. Came down to C2 at 5:00 pm. Inokuchi and Pasang Dawa spent a night at C2 and rest of the climbers came down to BC.
Pasang Dawa said Inokuchi looked an experienced mountaineer.
