BC on East Annapurna Glacier
C1 at bottom of SW Ridge on East Annapurna Glacier
C2 at small plateau on ridge
C3 on ridge on small step in snow
High point at top of SW Ridge.

Just above C1 vertical rock of 35m and it was most difficult section of route. Had to stop ascent on 18 Oct because Strmsek got toothache and had go to go down. Belay partner Zorman was 60m below him.

Another summit party of Lorencic, Sinkovic and Sumnik reached C3 23 Oct to find tent pole destroyed and wind had also taken away sleeping bag, cooking gear, etc., so had to go down.

Had almost daily new snowfall throughout climb and after loose rocks, loosened by fixed rope, fell. Once C1 tent received ice piece of serac which made hole in tent.

This ridge was not the one Strmsek's expedition attempted in autumn 1994, but two ridges to the right of that one which was on the West Face. This probably a new line.
