C1 at top of Icefall
C3 pitched but not slept in
High point at yellow band on Lhotse West Face.
Put 30 ladders in Icefall. 23-24th one part of icefall collapsed, but no one hurt. 28th reached yellow band at 7500m from C2 and hoped to go higher, but weather changed for the worst and started snowing; more than one meter snow and too dangerous to reach C3. 28th slept in C2. Returned to BC 29th with sick Sherpa and after 29th continuous snowfall for 6 days. Sherpas tried on 5th to go up to see conditions and found took two days to reach C3 and abandoned attempt to reach C3 about half way because of avalanching and climb finished.
