C1 at West Col
C2 on upper Baruntse Glacier.

Oct 8 - left KTM for Lukla
Oct 10 - left Lukla for Mera Peak
Oct 17 - Mera BC acclimatization and rest
Oct 18 - attempt on Mera Peak called off due to sickness of one
member; afternoon big snowfall
Oct 19 - stayed Mera BC
Oct 20 - Tangnag
Oct 21 - Two members Buechner and Uhl evacuated to KTM by helicopter;
(they left KTM for Germany on 26th)
Oct 24 - All six to Mera summit
Oct 25 - proceeded to Baruntse BC
Oct 27 - arrived BC. Fixed BC 28-30, carrying loads to C1 and
preparations to set C1
Oct 31 - set up C1. Spent night by Peter Bayer, Walter Leyner, Rudolf Mendl
and Josef Polster
Nov 1 - Peter Bayer and Polster worked for C2 - carrying loads
Nov 2 - set up C2 spent night by Peter Bayer and Polster
Nov 3 - Peter Bayer and Polster started at 06:00 hours, reached summit
at 11:30 hrs, stayed about an hour and returned to C1.
Nov 4 - All down to BC.

Mountain condition was good in higher up than between BC to C1. BC was covered with snow - 30 to 50 cms all the time. The team returned to KTM on Nov 12 and will leave on 15th. The team probably first to succeed in the season.
