High point at bergschrund on West Face.
13 down to C1 and BC 14th because there had been avalanche which started from lower serac-icefall which collapsed just below C3 site on the normal climbing route on 11 Dec and again on 14th. Did not go up mountain again because feared serac-ice wall (known as the lower dablam) was still unstable. Left BC 15 Dec and went up Kalapattar.
6 Dec Cusik fell into bergschrund at 6700m (22,000 ft) and broke his thumb.
