BC at normal site
C3 on hanging glacier
High point at C3.

Only few days nice weather and already much snow on mountain, when team arrived at BC. At C3 site a lot of pieces of ice but not possible to go elsewhere (members tired and late 5:00 pm when arrived); dangerous place for camp and especially for more expedition camps. 6:00 am on 15th leader learned Kowatsch seriously ill and all down with him to help evacuate him; that evening in C1 and on down to BC that night. Helicopter brought him to KTM on 16th and all members in BC 16th.
