BC about same as Japanese 1992
C1 on glacier below West Ridge on its south side
C2 on West Ridge
High point on West Ridge.
Route was parallel to top 1992 route probably. Glacier has changed and not possible to make C2 at same site on Japanese (had loads guide who had been with Japanese). In beginning weather very bad "and we walked always in clouds." On 10 Oct tried for summit but too dangerous (cornices on one side and slab avalanche danger on other side and 50-degree small wall ahead). Left BC and made trip on 13 and 14 Oct to northwest of Himlung and climbed on unmarked 5800m peak.
