BC at normal site
C1 at same site as Viesturs; Canadians and Germans 100m higher
C3 at 100m below North Col
C4 at 20m below summit ridge.
After C1 occupied, down to BC for 2 days. On 16th Noguera and Montalban up to C2 and stayed on mountain till summit while other members went up and down to BC. Route was snow and ice, no rock. Summiters left C4 at 4:00 am, on top 13:25, returned to C4 at 16:00 hours. C3 to C4 more difficult: steep and dangerous hard snow, serac ice. Fixed 200m between C1 and C2 which ice serac took away; did not fix between C3 and C4 because when arrived there, were not carrying rope.
