C2 at Makalu La.
No C3. Tried twice for top - wanted to try Kukuczka route from BC to top but constant wind prevented this. 28th April slept at Makalu La but couldn't sleep there, too windy and 3 people was too many in tent. 4 May again Makalu La and up to US C4 at 7800m and down because couldn't see the way. 11 May in Makalu La. Summited May 19.
Climbed alone always. Georges agrees this group led by Jorgensen was not a team.
