Apa climbed with Gheorghe all the time; not very strong, not very weak climber, needed fixed ropes which Nanda Dorje and Apa fixed for him on 2nd Step and final snow slope. Apa and Gheorghe left C3 at 1:00 am 26 May together but Apa went ahead to fix ropes. Apa on top 10:10 am and Gheorghe about 10:30 am and down together to C3 at 3:30 pm and slept there. 27th ABC.
Apa Sherpa - This is his 10th ascent of Everest.
