19 May Gatt snowboarded from start of slope of summit plateau at about 8100m to rock ridge, walked 30m again via board 8000m to C3 with very short break at yellow band and slept C3; took 2-1/2 hours to descend for Fritsche could record in photos; next day on snowboard all way from C3 to C2. 22nd summiters got to top after Italians who made good track to use (direct line). 25th summiters only ones this day.
