원정 개요

Pratt had Nepalese trekking permit, decided at Namche Bazar to make an attempt on Cho Oyu. Went to the mountain with just trekking gear. Started for top from 7300m on 22 Oct at 9:00 am, rather late because didn't have proper sleeping bag, etc and reached summit plateau about 4:30 pm and then turned back because too late to continue up for more than an hour to summit, and since was climbing illegally couldn't tell about his climb publicly. Was last climber on mountain even after illegal Serbs were gone (in police custody briefly).
