BC at normal site
High point at NE Face below plateau.

Made deposit at 6800m in preparation for fixing ropes on 300m high steep slope leading to C3 site at 7000-7300m (had planned for camps: C3 at 7000m and C4 at 7400m). Snowstorm 15-18 Oct brought 1m new snow above 5300m bringing avalanche danger. After 18th Oct stable weather till night of 25th Oct when 1m new snow at C2, where members were staying. 26th this team and most others left C2 for BC and this team now abandoned climb because of deep snow and lack of time for waiting for new snow to settle and climbing safe. Avalanche that took away a Colombian came 3 meters from one member this group.
