High point at C2.

Cinca team: Pifarre went no higher than C2 because he had become very tired - he felt this was high enough. On 14th Sept descended to C1 and stayed there on 15th, on 16th to ABC and did not go up again, but did not leave until Cinca team did on 30th. Was independent of Cinca team with our tentage and food, but sometimes climbed with them. All were on same permit.

Pifarre: asked whether he liked climbing alone, he said. "No, I did it because of circumstances" without elaborating.
