BC above Samagaon
C1 above yak herders huts
C2 on snowfield at bottom of icefall
C3 on col (very windy site)
C4 above rock ridge on face.
Bad weather (deep snowfall and avalanches) after C2 established so had to wait before making C3. From C2 to C3 problem then icefall and not possible to ski up through this area so all skies left in C2. Snow not good for sking. Summiters left C4 5:30 am and on top at 12:00 noon in very cold wind and down to C3 at 5:00 pm.
No more summit bids because cold wind. 3 members sick in BC from altitude. Doctor not keen on climbing: team strength dwindling and Arthur Haid worried about old frostbite problem he has.
