BC at Langtang Glacier halfway between Dragnarpo Ri and Goldum Peaks
C1 at snow plateau between 2 cols
C2 on SW Ridge 800m above Tilman's Col
C3 on SW Ridge.
Used fixed rope only last part to C2 below Tilman's Col where was hanging glacier and from Col to C2 to C3 difficult knife-edge ice ridge and here all fixed rope. From C3 to summit 600m fixed rope. Total 2300m rope fixed. After C3 had one week bad weather. 1st summit party left BC 14th April and 2nd attack party next day.
Much deep snow this spring even in BC area, where 2 years ago there was none when Fukuzawa did recced-route from BC included crossing a col down to snow plateau and up again to Tilman Col. Any other route very difficult and have hanging glaciers threatening them.
