High point on SE Ridge.
Final summit ridge knife sharp crystal ice; entire route very long. Fixed total 200m begining below C1 over rock and snow. Almost every afternoon new snowfall, after while very deep. 11th May 11:40 am reached very steep, very narrow ridge, dangerously exposed to wind, which most days was strong. Between C4 and C5 big crevasse which took much time to pass. Many avalanches came off Dhaulagiri VI which were not serious problem to Koreans. After 11th May weather bad and no more chance of success.
Would like to try again but from C5 go to SW Ridge instead of route attempt this time. Expedition actually obtained permit for East Peak only.
