C1 at North Col
C2 set then came back to BC.

Rackenbauer and Chlastak left C3 at 2:00 am NST on 26 May and reached top at 9:00 am NST. Chlastak stopped at 8500m because of exhaustion. No other teams summited on 26 May.

On 25 May Studer went up alone and got up to 8675m after spending 24 May night at C3 without a tent. He had made arrangements with Czechs to leave tent behind (by Czechs) but couldn't find it. At 8675m it was simply too cold. On the way back he met Rackenbauer and Chlastak who were coming up with them since can't find Czech tent. Mrs Studer went to C3 on 17 May with others and back to C2 on 18th with them; she did not join her husband in his climb to C3 on 24th because of news which distressed her about American woman dying.
