1st summited bid: Berbeka and Norsek member of Czech expedition, left C3 at 2:00 am on 7th May but turned back quickly because winds very strong; reached about 8350m only and immediately down to ABC. Now all teams in ABC in bad weather.

Up again on 14 May to C3 but all tents gone in winds (30 tents at C2 also all gone) so down to ABC. 19 May to BC and climb finished; had no more time, had to return to work.
