"Body in no good condition - I don't understand" why but no strength at all. Went to C2 on 26 April and made camp there but did not sleep there according to plan for his oxygen-less ascent. Down BC because not in condition and to village Tashizing; returned to BC 14 May. 17 May BC to ABC, 18th and 19th not in ABC, 20th to C1, 21st rest in C1, 22nd up from C1 to 7200m but not good condition and down to ABC. In ABC decided climb finished on 24th. Took 4 bottles oxgyen for Sherpa Dawa Tshering. Konishi had sore throat, then fever, then general weakness. "I think Chomolongma did not give permission."
