C2 at foot of North Face
High point at beginning of North Face.
After 1 night in C1 on 15th down to BC because snowing above 5000m and raining below. 25th Kuntner and Eberhoefer 200m behind C2 and then too deep snow and down to BC. Now too dangerous to go up from avalanche danger; [stopped climbing] because of bleak prospect of success.
Kuntner, Eberhoefer and Catteruccia go Xixa, leaving KTM 8 Oct.
