Never reached BC. Lost 5 days in KTM waiting for flight, walked to Namche ex-Jiri, thus lost 11 days. Vincent tried to climb North Face of Amphu Laptsa with Sherpas but too deep snow, impossible to climb with porters. Went to Island Peak and succeeded there, climbed Kalapattar, success on Parchamo. Took Vincent's party 2 days to do 5 hours climb from Sukund at base of the pass to BC of the pass - too dangerous snow conditions.

Sharp ridge last 100m should be only techinical problem, but may have problem if snow 2m deep, danger of avalanching. Had permission but never reached base camp.
