C1 at West Col.
To top in deep snow which discouraged Morel from trying to summit. 1 Nov Passello and Sandruk Sherpa (from Makalu village, living in Darjeeling) left C1 at 4:30 am, went to top 12:45 pm and back to BC 8:00 pm a bit tired and Passello slightly frostbitten toes; intended to stop at C1 in descent but sirdar met them there and said they had to go to BC.
