BC on north side Dudh Kund Lake, southwest of Karyolung
High point at foot of mountain east of Dudh Kund.

29th Oct went to hill of 5700m of Karyolung and above Dudh Kunda Glacier to see feasible route but clouds settled in down to 4000m every morning (plus snowfall often) and could see nothing. Had earlier explored side valleys to 5300m maximum for approaches to mountain. Intention was to attempt NNW Ridge, but never got on to mountain really and did no actual climbing. Went trekking and few days later weather cleared beautifully.
