13th attempted to go to summit in alpine-style (Pascal with Tukten and Dawa Sherpas) reached 6400m in 6 hours and snow bad and ice pieces falling and very windy; returned to C2 removing temporary C3 as they descended.

14th Pascal to C3 pitched by Polish team and joined them (with 2 Sherpas carrying for him but descending) on NW Ridge for new route and 15th to 7200m and down to BC because not feeling strong (arrived BC 10:30 pm).

17th Pascal and Fabrice to C1 in evening. Pascal down from C1 at 11:45 pm and [Fabrice] reached Poles C3 in fresh snow covering track and wind; arrived C3 at 6:00 am and very tired and retreated to below BC; last to leave were Fabrice & Pascal.

NW Ridge possible to big wall starting at 7500m; this wall looked almost impossible but Poles still trying to scale it.
