C4 on ridge just south of cauliflower ridge.

20th was last day of weather good enough to try for summit; bad weather and heavy snowfall and wind [followed]. Night of 20 Oct C4's 2 or 3 tents destroyed by wind. Started fixing rope below C1 but between C1 to C2 not much fixed; most of rope used above C3 to C5 and higher. C3 and C4 was sharp ridge (cauliflower ridge) and rock above C5 also most difficult part of route; much worse than West Ridge of Everest. Took 4 days to fix rope on rock barrier from C4 to C5. This route most difficult of any Marciniak has climbed.
This route should become the standard route because route is logical and safe. Italian route to its left is very dangerous, says Kochancyzk.
