Members walk 17 days to BC; all equipment is already in Khumbu. Acclimatization climbing and putting in fixed rope simultaneously in two parts.
3-4 weeks climbing summit about 1st week Oct depending on weather.
BC about 3500m in different basin from Japan BC; will be on Duwo Glacier.
No Sherpas above BC
No oxygen
Route = North Ridge, same as French autumn 1981 = from Duwo Glacier to Col at 5365m
